Dr Pranathi Reddy DDS, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon
Dr. Reddy is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon. she is a caring surgeon with a gentle chair-side manner who believes every patient should be treated as if they were family. she is committed to providing the highest quality, skillful and personal service that one deserves.
After obtaining her doctorate degree from NYU College of Dentistry in 2008, Dr. Reddy started her career as a general dentist and dedicated for patient care. her pursuit of excellence was manifested in her general dentistry cases that were completed during that period. These rewarding cases prompted Dr. Reddy to took her career a step further so she decided to become a surgeon.
Dr. Reddy completed one year of surgical internship at Harlem Hospital Center, New York and another year of surgical internship at Lincoln Medical Center,Brooklyn, New York, followed by four years of residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Temple University Hospital in Philadephia, one of the largest level one trauma centers in the country. During her residency, she received extensive training which included rotations through internal medicine, anesthesia, general surgery/trauma, plastic surgery, and otolaryngology.
Dr. Reddy completed her fellowship at Mercy Hospital, St Louis, During her fellowship Dr. Reddy trained under nationally recognized leaders in the speciality, becoming highly skilled in facial reconstructive surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implantology, orthognathic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, TMJ surgery, maxillofacial pathology and general anesthesia.
Dr. Reddy is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. She is certified in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
